據WWE.com證實，The Rock與John Cena將會在Survivor Series（適者生存）PPV上在一場傳統淘汰賽中組隊。
The Rock在Twitter賬號上發布了一則Survivor Series海報，暗示他將與Cena組隊，WWE.com隨後正式發表聲明，證實了這一說法。
